Warm Cocoa Wishes

Who doesn’t love a warm cup of cocoa on a chilly day? I love texture and wanted more than usual for this card, so went with a double layer. First, I used the Diamond Oval Pinpoint Background die—my new favorite for a subtle background. Then I die cut and layered multiple Nordic Cozy Mittens for a warm, winter feeling. 

The Nordic Cozy Cocoa is such a fun set of dies and easy to assemble. I used some glitter glue from my stash to make the whipped cream shimmer. I always like to add a coordinating image or die inside to finish my card (even if I don’t always photograph it)—this time I added a cozy mitten. Warm Wishes and a Nordic Mitten

Here’s a holiday gate-fold card with the new Poppystamps Large Nordic Mitten and Warm Wishes Cheerful Script dies. The patterned paper is from the beautiful Memory Box Poinsettia Garland pad. Of course, I had to add my signature furry cuff! 

Festive Polar Bears

I love bears, so had to share a card with the new Nordic Skating and Sitting Bear dies from the Nordic Winter Magic release. These adorable bears could also be brown bears, but I’m especially fond of polar bears, so I decided to make both of mine polar bears!

I dressed both bears in festive purple sweaters for their day of winter skating fun. The dies include a solid backer piece for the face, which makes it easy to color in the eyes, nose, and ears. I used some vellum and glitter glue from my stash to create a small patch of ice for the skating bear. The sentiment is also new from the Nordic Winter Magic release. A Snow Day with the Nordic Bundled Snowman

Another favorite from the Poppystamps Nordic Winter Magic release is the Nordic Bundled Snowman! I adore snowmen and have quite a few dies and stamps. I thought it would be fun create a card by mixing and matching everything so it looks like a fun snow day! Of course, I had to add lots of glitter too! The dies are super easy to assemble, which is always a plus. I finished with the Warm Wishes sentiment. All the details are on the Poppystamps Blog.

Sending Love with a Little Dachshund

I fell in love with the Poppystamps "Dog Days of Summer" release. So, I couldn't resist making a Christmas version using the Leaping Dachshund! I hope you enjoy my card. 

Wishing You Joy with a Nordic Serene Dove

Catching up on posts...things became busy after a big vacation. My first Christmas/Holiday post with Poppystamps products. I love the new Nordic Layered Joy die set and you’ll be seeing more cards with it. I paired it with the Nordic Serene Dove this time. I also used the new Diamond Oval Pinpoint Background die. Instead of die cutting the paper, I placed an embossing pad over the die with the paper and ended up with an impression. This is an easy way to achieve two different looks with the same product. Enjoy! 

AUTUMN GLOW

HELLO FALL

Hello Friends on this First Day of Fall! Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year. I love walking the trails in the crisp air and the ever-changing colors. I guess that’s why I enjoy making colorful leaf-themed cards!

Today, I’m sharing a card with all the gorgeous colors of Autumn and then some! I used the Nordic Oak and Maple Leaves dies and a few of the fun Nordic Swirl Mushrooms. I knew I wanted to cover the card front, so I just kept die cutting the leaves and mushrooms. I lost count! I wasn’t too worried if I had extras, because they always come in handy for future cards.
